1. Summary
We keep tracking to a minimum. We do not use advertising trackers, marketing pixels or third-party analytics anywhere — not on this website, not in the VendBot portal, and not in our apps. The cookies and local storage we use are set out below.
2. Cookies on vendbot.co.za

The map in our footer is a static image served from our own website. It is not a live embed, contacts no third-party mapping service when the page loads, and sets no cookies.
3. The VendBot portal (portal.vendbot.co.za)
The portal sets no cookies. It uses your browser’s local storage for one thing: keeping you signed in (an authentication token from our login provider). It also caches the app’s static files (logos, scripts, styles) on your device so it loads fast — your business data is never cached on the device. Signing out clears your session.
4. Analytics and tracking
We currently use no analytics or tracking products of any kind. If we ever introduce analytics, we will update this policy first and, where required, ask for your consent before any non-essential cookies are set.
5. Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings (usually under Privacy or Site Settings). Because the website’s core cookies are strictly necessary, blocking cookies should not break normal browsing; and blocking local storage will prevent you from staying signed in to the portal.
6. Changes
If our use of cookies changes, this page will be updated with a new version number and effective date before the change takes effect.
