Website Terms of Use
1. Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Use govern your use of the vendbot.co.za website (the “Website”), operated by VendBot, the trading name of Innovative Vending Solutions (Pty) Ltd (Registration No. 2024/176221/07) (“VendBot”, “we”, “us”). By using the Website you accept these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.
These terms cover the public Website only. Use of the VendBot client portal, our applications, and the purchase of VendBot products and services are governed by separate agreements concluded with clients.
2. Permitted and prohibited use
You may browse the Website and submit genuine enquiries. You must not:
- use the Website unlawfully or in a way that infringes anyone’s rights;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Website, its server or connected systems, or interfere with its security or availability;
- scrape, harvest or bulk-extract content or data, including by automated means (bots, crawlers) beyond ordinary search-engine indexing;
- introduce malware or other harmful code;
- submit false, misleading or unlawful content through our forms;
- frame or mirror the Website, or misrepresent an affiliation with VendBot.
3. Intellectual property
The Website and its content — including the VendBot name, logos, images, text, page designs and software — are owned by or licensed to us and protected by South African and international intellectual-property laws. You may view and print content for your own internal, non-commercial evaluation of our services. Any other reproduction, distribution or commercial use requires our prior written consent. Third-party names and marks (including AddPay) belong to their respective owners.
4. Website content and product information
Website content is provided for general information. Product descriptions, features, availability and indicative figures may change without notice and do not constitute a binding offer, quotation or advice. Contracts for VendBot products and services are concluded only in writing under their own terms. While we try to keep the Website accurate and available, we do not warrant that it is complete, error-free, uninterrupted or free of harmful components.
5. Third-party links and services
The Website may link to or embed third-party sites and services (for example, an interactive map). We do not control and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Your use of them is at your own risk and subject to their terms.
6. Information you submit
Information submitted through our contact form or by email is handled as described in our Privacy Policy and POPIA Notice, which form part of these terms. You warrant that information you submit is accurate and that you are authorised to provide it.
7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law (including, where applicable, the Consumer Protection Act, 2008), the Website is provided “as is” and we disclaim warranties to the extent lawfully permitted, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Website or its content; we do not exclude liability for gross negligence, wilful misconduct, personal injury, fraud, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. You indemnify us against claims arising from your breach of these terms or misuse of the Website.
8. Changes and suspension
We may amend these terms and change, suspend or withdraw any part of the Website from time to time; where a change materially affects users, we will publish the updated terms with a new effective date before or when the change takes effect. The current version, with its effective date and version number, will always be published on this page. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
9. Governing law and general
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and you consent to the jurisdiction of the South African courts in respect of any dispute relating to the Website. If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder stays in force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
